Client Testimonials

My massage experience was amazingly relaxing and definitely eased the tension in my body. Binh was professional, attentive and I particularly liked how Binh asked me if the pressure was right for me. MWJ atmosphere, space and ambience was extremely calming! Overall, I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Binh to friends and family.
Eileen
I received a 60 minutes massage from Binh. Her space is welcoming, clean, and relaxing. The service was professional, personalised, and provided both physical and mental relief from my daily stressors.
Cindy
I have had many massages over the years. Remedial, hot stones, relaxation, deep tissue and cupping. I found my experience with Binh to be very relaxing. she is all accommodating to my needs, and I left ever so relaxed for hours after the massage. Her clinic set up is very professional and pleasant. Can't wait till she can accept private health payment, and I will be there regularly. Highly recommend you make a booking.

FAQs

A. Health insurance does not provide extras cover for Swedish Massage. Only Remedial Massage can be claimed through health funds.
Mindful Wellness Journey is currently in the process of gaining a Diploma of Massage Therapy, which will allow us to provide Remedial Massage services in the future.

A. Key differences include:

Pressure: Swedish Massage uses light to moderate pressure, while Deep Tissue Massage applies more intense pressure.

Focus Area: Swedish Massage is generally full-body or focuses on broad areas such as the back and legs. Deep Tissue Massage targets specific areas of tension.

Purpose: Swedish Massage is primarily for relaxation, while Deep Tissue Massage aims to relieve chronic pain and muscle tension.

A. You may arrive in any comfortable clothing. Before the treatment, we ask clients to undress to their underwear. You will be covered with towels or sheets for privacy at all times, and only the areas being treated will be uncovered.
For example, if we are working on your back, you will lay face-down with your body covered. We will then drape appropriately so only your back is exposed, with towels positioned securely for comfort and privacy.

A. The recommended frequency varies depending on individual needs. Generally, we suggest monthly sessions for relaxation and stress relief. More frequent treatments may be helpful for muscle tension or chronic pain management.

A. Mindfulness is the state of being fully present and engaged in the moment. Meditation is a practice that often involves focusing the mind to achieve calmness and clarity.
Mindfulness can be practised anytime during daily activities, while meditation typically requires dedicated time and space.

A. Wear light, comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Your body temperature may drop during meditation, so it’s a good idea to bring a light jacket or shawl.

A. We offer a range of activities, which may include mini gardening, light food preparation, beading, and arts and crafts. Activities vary between sessions.
